CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH

Would you like to learn to speak or improve your Spanish during your stay in our country?
We teach Spanish in response to the needs of foreign residents and visitors to learn Spanish as part of linguistic survival and the learning of Costa Rica's Culture. The best way to learn Spanish is to be immersed in the language. What better way than during your stopover in our country?
If you are living in Costa Rica, you can learn to speak or improve your Spanish to better satisfy your basic needs of survival in our country.
We teach you downtown in you local town or village so that you may take advantage of the proximity of banks, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and others, as part of the practice and total immersion in the language offered to students. You can enjoy these conveniences and at the same time engage in real conversations with locals and thus enrich your learning of Spanish.
Families are also encouraged to take part in our programs! We are one of the few Spanish educational institutions that have specialized programs for children and youth.
Our educational system is based on the Natural System of Learning of every human being. Our system understands the five pillars of education in the following order: to Listen, to Think, to Speak, to Read and to Write.
OUR SPANISH PROGRAM:
Our program has been designed in such a way that our classes are very productive. Even if you can only take a week-long program, in that week you can learn a tremendous amount, with games, practices and conversation.
We work with small groups, from 1 to 8 people.
In order to determine the placement best suited for your linguistic capabilities, you will assisted with the help of a written and oral placement test before you start to study in our institute.
Payment is due before you do your placement test and then you are ready to start your classes.
Students advance in the program, not based on the number of classes, but according to their conversational skill advancements and the reaching of the program's objectives. The professor evaluates each student daily according to his participation in class.
Our Spanish Programs include:
Material (except a English- Spanish and Spanish-English dictionary. Recommended: Larousse), professor, placement test and certificate. Schedule: you can choose your schedule with the professor (Monday to Thursday in the morning or in the afternoon)
We have some alternatives for the Spanish Program:
- Standard: 15 hours per week ($255)
- Intensive: 20 hours per week ($350)
- Special Kindergarten: 15 hours per week ($225)
- Special programs for ages 8-13: 15 hours per week ($250)
- Additional hour: $25
We are also developing special programs of technical vocabulary for business administration, accounting and law, for residents.
These special programs are only available to students with an intermediate level of Spanish.
